The Academic Success Center (ASC) provides many services for students. These include on-campus tutoring, online tutoring, computer lab and computer assistance.
Tutoring is a free service for our students. Our tutors are experts in specific subjects and will act as a learning resource for you. They will help you review and study what you’ve learned in class.
For tutoring at the centers, please contact the center directly.
Students can access subject-specific tutors at scheduled times simply through virtual tutoring. This will enable real-time, face-to-face tutoring.
A variety of subjects are available during drop-in tutoring. Contact ASC for more information about Drop-In Tutoring.
Room 124 at the Kearney Center offers a computer lab where students can access computers and printers.
The Writing Center offers free, one-on-one assistance to Central Community College students as they strive to improve their writing skills.
We provide CCC student writers with a welcoming, inviting, collaborative and supportive atmosphere in which they can develop their skills and make informed decisions about their writing. We promote writing excellence and the success of students in both their academic and future careers.
The writing center also offers free, one-on-one collaboration to Central Community College faculty and staff as they create assignments for their courses, write for publication, update their resumes and CVs, etc.
You are encouraged to schedule appointments in advance.
Please contact the Academic Success Center coordinator for more information or for assistance in scheduling an appointment. Please describe what you need help with when scheduling.
