If you completed college credit at another institution, including dual-credit earned while in high school, request that an official transcript be sent directly from the other institution to CCC.
Once the official transcript is received, CCC will evaluate the courses for possible use towards your program at CCC.

Indicate your interest in on-campus housing on your application for admission. On-campus housing is available at the Columbus and Hastings campuses.
Students located in our Kearney Center can apply for housing through UNK. More information is available at UNK’s housing site.

Textbooks: You will automatically have access to your textbooks through the Raider Ready program for the vast majority of courses. Raider Ready has a per-credit-hour fee that is charged to your student billing account. Check out the Raider Ready FAQ for more information.
Learn about Canvas: Attend one of our Canvas Training Webinars or work through the CCC101 course located in your list of courses in your My Course card in WebCentral or the direct Canvas link in My Resources.
Online students: Students taking online classes have a greater responsibility for their own success than students in traditional classroom settings. Successful online learners are self-motivated and self-disciplined.

Use your Student Planner to confirm your course schedule. Remember that you need to use the drop/add period to drop any courses you do not wish to take. See the College Catalog for add/drop dates.

The Annual Security and Fire Safety Report includes Clery Act crime and fire statistics for the preceding three years for locations owned and/or controlled by Central Community College, the required policy disclosure statements and other important safety-related information.
A paper copy of the ASR is available on request made to the Security Department by calling 308-398-7440, by email to the Security Department or in person at the Financial Aid or Associate Dean of Student Success and Enrollment Management Offices on the Grand Island, Hastings and Columbus campuses and the Learning Center Managers’ Offices in Lexington, Holdrege, Kearney and Ord.
