These professional development workshops provide useful information, activities and training to help educators prepare students for future success.
These workshops are open only to high school educators (counselors, teachers and staff).

Welcome to a day in the life of an EMT student. In this hands-on, immersive workshop, you will be the student practicing EMS skills, including patient assessment, bleeding control and injury management. You will encounter various scenarios and provide care to simulated patients (manikins).
In addition to participating in a typical class day, we will review games and discuss the requirements, expectations and challenges for EMT students.
Please wear closed-toe shoes and clothing that you feel comfortable moving around in.
