Central Community College is an American Heart Association (AHA) Training Center, playing a crucial role in providing Emergency Cardiovascular Care (ECC) education to both the public and healthcare professionals. CCC has been an AHA Training Center since 1989.

The Basic Life Support (BLS) courses by the American Heart Association emphasize the significance of early CPR and defibrillation for healthcare professionals. These courses cover the essential steps of performing CPR, relieving choking, using an AED and the importance of each link in the Chain of Survival.
