Campus Dining

Campus dining is an important part of college life. Our goal is to provide enjoyable, delicious and nutritious food in a comfortable setting. Food service on our campuses is provided by Chartwells, a leading foodservice management company. Dining is available on the Columbus, Grand Island and Hastings campuses.

Meal Plans

All students living in residence halls on the Columbus and Hastings campuses select a meal plan as part of their room and board arrangements. Meal plans are also available to students who don’t live in the residence halls and to employees.

Declining balance accounts are also available. Meal plans are not required to eat at CCC’s campus dining centers. Cash, credit cards and debit cards are accepted for all purchases.

Windmill Dining Center, lower level of the Student Center.

Monday – Friday

  • Breakfast: 7:30 – 9 a.m.
  • Lunch: 11:30 a.m. – 1 p.m.
  • Dinner: 5 – 7 p.m.

Saturday – Sunday

  • Brunch: 11:30 a.m. – 1 p.m.
  • Dinner: 4:30 – 6 p.m.

*Fall and spring semesters when classes are in session. Hours vary for the summer session, holidays and breaks.

Cost

Great Deal: For every $50 of Flex Cash you purchase, you get an additional $5 on your account.

  • Brunch: 11 a.m. – 1 p.m.
  • Dinner: 5 – 6 p.m.

Central Commissary

Woodlands Dining Room

Operated by culinary arts students, the Woodlands Dining Room provides them with valuable experience in menu planning, recipe selection, work schedule planning, pre-costing menu items and preparing and serving each item.

It is open Tuesdays and Thursdays from 12 noon – 12:30 p.m.
