Nursing Application Details

The Nursing application takes place annually during the Spring Semester.  Application documents will be submitted during the open application period.  If accepted, you begin the Nursing courses in August (Fall Semester).  To be eligible to apply, the following items must be completed:

  1. Apply to Central Community College and select Nursing as your program of interest  
  2. Provide proof of an active CNA license from the Nebraska Nursing Assistant Registry
  3. Provide proof of an active American Heart Association, Basic Life Support (BLS), for Healthcare Provider CPR Certification
  4. Provide proof of an ATI TEAS test with a score of 58.7% or higher (taken within the last 3 years)
  5. BIOS 2250 Anatomy & Physiology I with a B or higher
    • Please note, BIOS 1010 General Biology is a pre-requisite to BIOS 2250 Anatomy & Physiology I.  If you have completed Anatomy & Physiology I you do not need to complete BIOS 1010 General Biology.  If using BIOS 1010 as your elective, you must achieve a grade of “C” or higher.
  6. ENGL 1010 English Composition I with a C or higher
