The Administrative Medical Office Certificate provides you with the basic skills needed for entry-level work in the front office of a healthcare setting. You will learn tasks such as scheduling, managing patient records, and handling office communication. This certificate does not qualify you to take the AAMA (CMA) certification exam; you must complete the Medical Assisting AAS degree for that eligibility.
Medical Assisting diploma graduates are prepared to perform administrative duties in a medical office. You will learn skills such as scheduling, managing patient records, and handling office communication. This program prepares you for entry-level front office roles in healthcare settings.
Medical Assisting AAS degree graduates are prepared to perform both administrative (front office) and clinical (back office) duties in a medical office or clinic. You will develop advanced skills to support patient care, assist with procedures, and manage office operations. This degree prepares you for a well-rounded role in today’s healthcare settings.
