Step into the legacy of American portraitist Robert Henri with an exclusive guided experience led by Peter Osborne, executive director of the Robert Henri Museum and Art Gallery. This immersive program invites participants to explore Henri’s artistic vision, his deep ties to Cozad, and the museum’s evolving role as a steward of cultural history and creative inspiration.
Through intimate storytelling and expert interpretation, expert guides will lead guests through the museum’s galleries and historic spaces, illuminating Henri’s influence on American art and the Ashcan School. Attendees will gain fresh insight into Henri’s philosophy, technique and the social movements that shaped his work, all within the very town that helped shape him.
After the tour, guests are invited to unwind at a relaxed reception. The morning will feature a pop-up art show, hosted by the Haymaker Creative and Historic District, spotlighting local Cozad artists with a chance to mingle, reflect and celebrate the vibrant spirit of our creative community. Space is limited to 25 participants.
