Wine 101

In this seminar, you will learn to become more confident about wine. Whether you are at a restaurant, wine store without a specialist or grocery store, you will know the right terminology and what questions to ask to find the perfect wine for you. We will learn terminology and vocabulary and how to use those terms correctly. We will talk about the different components in wine, how wine is made and methods of production. We will learn about different regions, grapes and how climate, elevation, soil types and other factors affect the wine. We will discuss how and why some wines are blended while other wines are not. Through this entire seminar, you will have tastings to understand the concepts. You must be 21 years old or older.
