Medication Aide

Medication aides help competent individuals, caretakers and licensed health care professionals, administer medications. They work in long-term care, assisted living, home care and other health care facilities.

This 40-hour training is required by the Nebraska Department of Health and Human Services for registry and for employment as a medication aide. Upon successful completion of the training, students are eligible to take the state competency examination.
