GED® classes help you earn a Nebraska high school diploma. This option is for you if you did not finish high school and want to move forward. Adult Education at Central Community College offers GED® classes and testing at no cost.
You start by taking an assessment to see where you are. Staff then help you build a learning plan just for you. You study four subjects: Language Arts, Social Studies, Science and Math. As you progress, staff continue to support and guide you.
Classes are free and offered in person or online. Sessions are held in the mornings and evenings, Monday through Thursday.
You can enroll if you are 16 years or older and have withdrawn from a Nebraska school or completed homeschooling.
GED® classes are offered for free in these communities:
Central Community College does not issue GED® transcripts. You can request transcripts or a duplicate diploma through the Nebraska Department of Education.
