Associate Degree
Academic Transfer gives you two main options. You can earn an Associate of Arts (AA) if you plan to study areas like education, business or the humanities. You can earn an Associate of Science (AS) if you are interested in science, healthcare or technical fields. Both degrees are designed to transfer to a four-year college or university.
The Associate of Arts degree lets you complete your first two years of a bachelor’s degree at Central Community College. You can transfer up to 66 credits to a four-year college or university.
The degree requires 60 credit hours, and most schools require a course grade of C or higher to transfer. You are encouraged to work with your advisor to choose courses that match your transfer school’s requirements.
