What to Know About Summer Aid
Financial aid during the summer is limited. However, grants and scholarships may still be available.
Your eligibility for summer grants is automatically reviewed.
To be considered for summer scholarships, you must submit a summer scholarship application.
Scholarship applications are available through the Financial Aid Office.
Important Eligibility Requirements
Please keep the following guidelines in mind:
Pell Grant Eligibility
If you were a full-time student in fall and spring and used full-time Pell Grant funds, you must enroll in at least 6 credits during the summer to receive a Pell Grant.
If you did not use full-time Pell funds in fall or spring, contact the Financial Aid Office at your campus to review your summer options.
Student Loan Eligibility
You must be enrolled in at least6 credits to qualify for student loans.
Program Enrollment Requirement
You must be pursuing a degree or diploma at Central Community College to receive financial aid.
If you are only taking summer classes to transfer to another school, you are not eligible for financial aid through CCC.
