In this seminar, you will learn about the different types of cheese, from soft bloomy rind to firm to blue. You will learn about the different animal types that cheese comes from and specific flavor profiles. We will explore different cheese regions and talk about name protected cheeses. We will dive into things like why some cheeses are stinky or if you are allowed to eat the rind of cheeses. We will then talk about cooking with cheeses, which cheeses are best for different recipes, proper cheese storage and why blue cheese is … well, blue. And of course we will be tasting all the cheese. All ages are welcome.
