You also gain skills in jobsite planning, time-and-material estimates and safe work practices. This experience prepares you for entry-level construction jobs or construction management.

Certificate, Diploma, Associate Degree
This program lets you explore different areas of construction. You can focus on skills like framing, roofing, cabinet-making or interior and exterior finishes. You may also take related courses in drafting, welding and residential wiring to build a wider skill set.
The Design and Estimating Certificate prepares you for entry-level jobs as a construction technician or estimator assistant. It also gives you the basic skills needed to start and manage your own construction-related business.

The Interior Finish Carpentry Certificate gives you hands-on training in finish carpentry skills. It prepares you for entry-level jobs across many areas of the construction field.

The Residential Framing Certificate gives you hands-on training in framing skills used on real job sites. You learn tool use, blueprint reading, wall and roof framing and safety to prepare for entry-level jobs or further construction training.
Through this partnership, you gain hands-on construction experience at Central Community College. You also learn project management and business skills at Hastings College, which prepares you for leadership roles in the construction industry.

The Construction Technology Diploma prepares you for entry-level jobs in the construction field. You gain a strong foundation in modern building skills and all credits apply directly toward an associate degree.
This program gives you a strong head start in the construction field. You learn how to build structures from the ground up and manage a jobsite, including time, materials and labor.
