CCC offers an Information Technology program at its Columbus, Grand Island and Hastings campuses.

Demand for computer support specialist is projected to grow by 17 percent from 2012-22. An increase of 22 percent is expected during the same period for software developers.

Students completing an associate of applied science degree can specialize in information technology support or information technology developer.

An information technology diploma and an information technology concepts certificate also are available.

Graduates also are prepared to transfer to four-year colleges and universities including the University of Nebraska-Omaha Peter Kiewit Institute, Wayne State College, and the University of Nebraska-Kearney, to complete bachelor’s degrees.
