The Diesel Technology program at Central Community College-Hastings provides the training needed to begin a high-paying career as a diesel technician.

Our students develop professional skills through hands-on work on all systems of diesel construction equipment, farm tractors and trucks, including air conditioning, computerized fuel systems, diesel engines, electrical systems, hydraulics and power trains.

Industry partners of our Diesel Technology Program are offering student assistance through scholarships and sponsorships. Most sponsorships provide tuition, fees, books and hand tools as well as summer internships. Listed below are some of our industry partners and links to their sponsorship applications and offerings

NMC - Nebraska Machinery Company, Nebraska's Caterpillar dealer since 1938, sponsors diesel technology students each year. Sponsorships provide tuition, fees, books and hand tools as well as summer internships. Sponsored students are obligated to work for NMC for two years following graduation. Sponsorship Information

The Caterpillar Foundation  provides five $1,000 scholarships annually. Scholarship Information

Titan Machinery has more than 100 stores across the upper Midwest, Titan Machinery operates one of the largest networks of full-service CaseIH, Case and New Holland agriculture and construction equipment stores in North America. Sponsorship Application

Cummins Central Power is the authorized distributorship for Cummins parts and service in Nebraska, Iowa, South Dakota, Kansas, Missouri, and Illinois.

Nebraska Transport Company is a family owned business founded in 1973, and offers quality service to its customers with over 115 tractors and 250 trailers. NTC has 12 terminals across the Midwest.

The Nebraska Trucking Association  provides two $500 scholarships each year for CCC diesel students.
