Material handling and logistics fields are among the fastest growing areas of employment. Central Nebraska is a key point of distribution for goods in both the national and international markets.

Logistics is part of a larger supply chain process of moving goods from the manufacturer or the distributor to the customer. It involves planning, implementing and managing the efficient moving of goods and services, and effective communication between manufacturer and the customer.

The process includes assuring manufacturers the raw materials needed to produce goods are ready and making sure customer-desired products are available at the right place at the right price. Areas include the process control, inventory management, and customer services.

CCC offers Logistics courses as part of its Business Administration, Accounting, Entrepreneurship and Logistics program. Students can earn certificate in Logistics that can be incorporated into an associate of applied science degree in business, preparing students for careers in the transportation and distribution industry in areas including purchasing, logistics analysis, transportation coordination, warehousing, and inventory control.

All of the courses are offered on the Web, eliminating the need to attend any of our learning centers or campuses. Each course can be taken at home as they fit into your daily schedule.

Please see our online catalog for information about program requirements and course descriptions.
